Quality health care extends beyond tests and treatments.

When you visit your doctor's office you should expect to get the care you need, when you need it. A well-run office with attentive staff is an important part of a quality health care experience.

To be sure you and your loved ones experience meaningful office visits, pay attention to whether the office staff is friendly and helpful. Be prepared with questions for your doctor and make sure that when you leave the office all your concerns were addressed and you understand your doctor's instructions. If you are uncomfortable talking openly with your doctor, do not hesitate to ask to see a different doctor at your next visit.
